Anything wrong using this format? This would have the benefit that it also works nicely from my Western Digital Media Player.

Any ideas?

Ustein, I am glad someone else has tried to use the AppleTV format. I too am using a WDTV to stream from my MacPro to a 70in TV. I hope to get a HP Server soon, and store all my home movies on the server and store them as AppleTV format.

Thanks.

For home use it is likely a good way to go. Not sure how much quality is lost.
