Upload help

I am uploading footage onto my computer. Everything is great. I stop for a few days, come back, plug in my fire wire cable to comp and cam, and now my computer is not reading the connection.

I am very afraid it is the camera. I've already checked the comp components with assistance from friends and they think it is the cord or the cam. Got a new cord and still doesnt work. AND when I jiggle the end plugged into the camera the hour glass by the mouse comes on for a second the goes away.

PLease help me out if you know anything, and some solutions. Thank you

I've heard that if you keep everything plugged in with your camera turned on, shut down your computer, then restart it, it may work.

Uh Oh, sounds like another broken firewire port. Look at the above thread. This seems to have been happeneing a lot.
