upgrading firmware for 16 GIG p2 card

I went to this site to download the sd card firmware(https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/cs/csregistp2m/ep2main/soft/hvx200/hvx200.htm)

Had initital problem with new sc card having write protection and took it back for on that wasn't write protected.

Copied files to SC card.

The Operation function does not show "UPDATE". Literature suggests card may not be plugged in but it is.

Any suggestions how to UPDATE?

I have version 202 00 0.00

PS is there a thread here that walks through the entire process from laptop to camera? If there is I cannot find it.


Sorry. I kept working with it and realized you don't copy the whole folder just the PRIVATE.

If the UPDATE option doesn't appear, you've put the firmware image in the wrong place.

On the firmware download page you can find a PDF with detailed instructions, including the proper location for the file.
