Upgrading a follow focus.

I'm thinking about upgrading a follow focus of mine. I have a Redrock V1 follow focus with the V2 gears and I think I might upgrade it to something a little better. I already own the Cinevate Durus follow focus that goes out with my RED MX package so I'm not interested in that one for the AF100. I'm looking to spend around $1000 or less. It needs to be light weight, small, and thin (gear and gear box) to help with short lenses. Do any of you have a good suggestion?

man, that is cheap for the zacuto. what is the deal with that? it's new?

the zacuto stuff is great. for that price it's hard to beat.

get the chrosziel dv 206. You can find them used for around $1000. Very smooth and built like a tank. You can also get a reversing gear for nikons. I've owned one for around 4 years and use it on everything from the red to the 5d.
It's expensive but worth it.

Thanks everyone I decided that a monitor upgrade was more crucial at this point, so I spent my money on a SmallHD DP6 instead. The follow focus will be upgraded next. Thanks again.
