Hey All,

I am looking to get an fs100 in the near future.

I have a DSLR and currently an ex1 with 35mm adapter. I am thinking of selling my ex1 and 35mm adapter to get the fs100.

Question is what lenses are people using i was going to go for the Canon FD and Nikkor lenses?

I think this is a wise upgrade. As i have most lenses for my DSLR. all i am paying for really is the body.

Just be sad to see my ex1 go :(

Whats your advice?

Thanks :)

I have an EX1 and while I am using the FS100 a bit more nowadays because it is the new kid on the block it has uses. I might suggest you get a less expensive DSLR like a T2i or 60D and a FD to EOS adapter and sell your 35mm adapter and have both in your arsenal. The EX1 is a great camcorder and it still holds up and I think it has better detail and handling of the highlights than the FS100 and about the same resolution.

However, if all you were using was your 35mm adapter on your EX1 (which I also used for a while, I used the Letus adapter) then the FS100 is a good and easier choice and will be a lot lighter and a lot more light sensitive than your EX1 / adapter combo.
