Upgrade from FCP 3

[iplaysnowboards]

So i just got FCP 3 academic edition from a buddy, my question is, is there any possible way to upgrade at all?

Hmm- kinda doubt it. Call Apple on Monday to confirm.

the only time apple has ever allowed an upgrade for an Academic version of FCP was during their Universal Binary "crossgrade" offer.... which ended 18 months ago. So....you're stuck with 3.
