Updated Easyridersevents spot

While the floating camera movement was nice, it was pretty shaky. I might have tried faster moves while overcranking to smooth out those moves.

It was done with a kessler crane, but I hate the head that is on there. It is a Bogen 501 on the business end and that was my fault not theirs. I won't ever use it again. What should have happened was we should have been using the remote head, but my guy forgot the batteries and we couldn't run power onto the floor. I appreciate your comments though.

Never saw the old one , but this was pretty slick. For the product i wouldn't have expected a smoother production, so even if you felt you could have done better, it's still a job well done.

Thanks dogcat. dcarstens comments were right on. I have actually gone back in ripped it apart and cut together what I think are much smoother shots.

The client had me re cut last years footage into a new commercial for this year. I wanted to go out and shoot with the HVX and see what I could get. I got some (what I think) are some really good shots and some that could have been a lot better with the remote head or a better fluid head. Not only did my guy leave the power pack off the truck, the wide angle adapter was in the trunk of his car. Go figure.
However, the client just saw the original cut and loved the shots. We will press forward and make it all good.
thanks,
