Still playing around with it...just need some condensors and a new focusing screen, plus a way to mount it.

The adapter itself is nice and small. Looks very cool and easy to shoot with.

These were all shot around 12:30 aka the worst time of the day to shoot exteriors due to terrible exposure. You can see how there is less chromatic abberation in the highlights; the wax screen helps diffuse them. It also softens the image a bit, unfortunately.

Definately not bad for a home made adapter, but the problem with the DIY adapters seem to be that they dont really add to the quality of the footage :( . Its a cool effect they create but the softness and grain created are too much for the thing to be really usable. Good job getting it working tho, better than me. Hopefully with some tweaking u can get some really awesome results

I've seen Marla on DVD on a TV, it looked like a movie, people can get all technical and judge things too hard and criticize all day but at the end of the day, it either looks good or it doesn't.......

I'm kinda glad I don't pay too much attention to certain technical aspects of film because it distracts you from just enjoying the movie for what it is. Just like music, you have the fans that just like music, they buy it and bump it then you got those that judge every single aspect and disect a song til you can't even just enjoy it anymore...........

But yeah, I do agree that not every adapter is crisp............
