upconverting mix of 24p and 60i footage to HD

Hi all, I have a mix of 24p footage shot with a DVX100a, and some 60i stuff from a television broadcast, in a 60i project in premiere. I'd like to upconvert it to 720p.

I've done some tests with Photozoom Pro, with a 10 second clip of the 24p raw footage, and it looks great. I would take the 10s 24p clip, and import it into After Effects to remove the pulldown, and export as a raw file. Then import that back into premiere and make a tiff sequence out of it. And then run the tiffs through Photozoom, and import back into an HD project file in Premiere. now that works with a 10 second clip from the raw footage.

Now where the problem lies. Because I have a 60i project with both 24p footage, and 60i footage, I cant just import it into an After Effects composition and remove the pulldown.

What are my options to uprez to 720p? I obviously can't keep the footage interlaced because its either 720p24, 720p30, 720p60.

But how can I do a pulldown to remove the dupe frames from the 24p footage and yet keep the 60i intact?

Any ideas?

edit- and i just noticed that i posted in the HVX forum by accident, mods can this be moved to the DVX forum? thanks
