Up Grading To Adobe Pp 2

I Am Currently Using Adobe Prem Elements, A Basic Nle But As An Amateur Ive Been Able To Find My Way Around It And Like My Results. My Son Will Be Giving Me Adobe Prem Pro 2 For Xmas And The Question Is
1- Just Load Adobe Pp2 And Leave Prem Elements On The Drive.
2- Completely Un-install Prem Elements And Start Off With A Clean Slate.

I Have No Projects In The Mill So Trashing Prem Elements Is Not An Issue.

Hi,

I think you can leave Elements on the drive, but I would check the Installation Notes. Sometimes they have specific instructions concerning versions.
 
No, leave it or remove it, wont effect the PP2.0. They are written on separate stand alone software. i.e. photoshop 2.0, 5.0 CS2.

for some reason, i have several photoshops in my computer and they stand alone and do not upgrade each other, i like it for simple things. the later softwares are a bit different.

The only recomendation here is that you don't (re-)install Elements after you have installed Pro, as that can lead to some codec confusion. But leaving Elements under the install of Pro seems to work just fine.
