Unusual Black Balance

OK, here I go:
I changed the Gain on the camera from 200ASA to 400ASA,
No problems, did the recommended black balance, when picture came
back, the blacks were crushed. Had to go with it.
Redid the black balance again, the screen went white. Checked
Iris, lens, auto everything, nothing.
Redid the black balance again, it went back to normal.
I am noticing on my viewfinder screen it says, " Cine D", I went into the
menu and changed it to B.Press. The image is back to normal, Cine D is still on the screen. I do not remember if B. Press was on the screen.
Also I cannot recreate this at this point.
I do have the current update.
Any help would be appreciated.

Which Scene File is it? 5 or 6?

I can't remember the exact details, but by default some of the Scene Files had names that were a bit hard to change. I think one was called "SPARK", & the other may have been "CINE-D".
