unTrue Blood lowlight test footage

In case anyone's interested, I've got some low-light test footage I shot and Magic Bulleted, now up at Vimeo. I'm still trying to figure this camera out and I'm annoying lots of people taking my camera with me almost everywhere I go.



I have some other test footage that I haven't put up. Most of it turned out good, but I did, for the first time, notice some mud with trees and one time on an out of focus face (for like a frame or so). Not bad, but definitely there, and mostly on movement pans. And I also noticed that CMOS skew, but only when I was whipping the camera around hand-held.

Despite that, I'm loving this camera.

Awesome! It looks like it was shot with an old film camera, like a high quality Bolex.

Thanks, yabyum and davidpaula. That old quality film look was what I was trying to go for, in parts... We're still playing around with color grading (getting into Apple Color) and with the GH1. Trying to come up with the "right" look for our next short.

yep, kit lens. got a new nikon adapter and my 50mm 1.4, 28mm 2.8, etc. havent posted any test footage of that, but it is SUH-WEET....
