SYNOPSIS 'Untitled Horror Film'
Heidi Slater, (Presenter / Journalist), desperate for her break, attempts to expose a celebrated Psychic, Tobias Danzig by leading a documentary film crew into the once infamous - now all but forgotten - 'Netherwood House' As they begin to capture strange phenomena, their Cameraman J.P. starts to shoot his own type of horror movie.
 
interesting stuff, ballsy, daring, where's the scare tho? no monster or chick with a bloody knife jumped out :( you can experiment with the genre but we gotta see the goods too
 
These are (mostly) well composed, but there's no hint of the "scary thing". Where's the monster? You're making Roger Corman and me (and the lonely guy below) very sad.

I think it has a pretty ambitious advertising style. I loved in the teaser how the tone keeps getting louder and louder. The girl hiding her eyes in the tree singing is with glimpses of the other characters establishes a good mystery. It's a lot more original than a lot of other trailers I've seen.

There should be something really basic but unsettling (check out the trailer for Lars Von Trier's Antichrist) images climaxing when the tone leads to its peak loudness.

the guy who did these is a pretty good designer, but..... top ones the best by far (second ones weakest- no contrast between figure/ground size). I'm still :( :( :( there's no clear monster in two of em (human or otherwise), but I think maybe the posters might be now communicating that this is part of the movies concept (a play on the idea of a generic horror movie right? am I getting it)?.

Ya know, I really, really hate to be a graphic design nerd (its not like anyone else would notice this stuff), and I hope this isn't rude, but the following adjustments would make it perfect. Story to step on anyones toes, like I said its not like anyone else but anal graphic design geeks would notice.... Its still good work.


one good graphic designer plus anal retentive art geek = great poster for you???
