My older F3 has started flirting with the "Unknown Media" bug, but I suspect it may have to do more with the slot than the cards. I use XQD cards inside an SxS style adapter. Randomly, I'll get the warning, which may go away if I reseat the card a few times, (although it can reappear during shooting) but the same card does not usually cause an issue in my other F3...or, as I found yesterday, if I move it to the other slot.
Does this sound like a pin going bad inside slot one...or is there a safe way to clean the contacts inside a slot without causing more problems?
I will also add that both camera slots are clean and shiny, and neither appear to have any bent/missing pins.
