I'm building up my rig and I'm stumped on how people handle the space between small lenses and their matte box when using a follow focus.
Maybe this is only an issue with m4/3.
I have a GH2, Kamerar FF and Kamerar Matte Box. If I am using a Nikon 50mm lens with the FF, there is a good 2 or 3 inches between the end of the lens and the matte box. I just received the Zacuto universal donut and I can't believe I paid $30 for this thing. It is about 1.5 inches. I just don't see how it is going to be of any use for me, unless I'm using a larger lens like my 45-200mm.
So...does anyone have pics of how they handle the space from lens to MB, especially when using a follow focus?
