Im doing a film in reading in afew weeks, with Z7, maybe SGblade if I can get one in time. Also will be using the hocus focus and steadicam.

We would like to meet up with you Peter but reading is abit out of reach money wize at the moment, if we could arrange somewere in between us, me and david would drive down for a day and hang out, would be usefull to get to know other film makers in this country, extra cameras for shoots etc, wed love to come down help you on a project etc.
 
I'm sure there is more members on this forum from the UK than what we have in this thread. This isn't the most eye catching forum, I mean its located at the bottom of the page for goodness sake. Who looks here? I only occasionaly look to see who the newest member is, at the moment its Un Chien andalou who I'm gonna assume isn't all that british.

This does make me raise the question to where I can find such fellow filmakers in the UK. Peter lad, do you have a small team/community? If so how did that come about?:beer:

I live in a desolate town near lincoln would love to help out on some other folks films. Don't have much equipment at the moment since I'm only young. Hv30, Tripod and computer. Hoping to purchase crane & dolly soon. Anyone needing help or shooting a film send me a email. :thumbup:
 
I am not leaving in UK at the moment but will be moved in few weeks,hope i'll not miss the meeting:( We should do this some kind of regularlly..
 
Hey, I don't post here that often but I'm regularly checking the forum out, I'd love to meet up with a few indies, get to know a few people in the same boat as me.... I reckon a cool place to meet up would be London, transport there from most cities seems to be dirt cheap (Megabus, National Express). I mean, it costs me £10 return to London, and I live about 130 miles away.
 
Im guessing most of you lot will be at Broadcast Live? Maybe could arrange to all meet at the somethingstand at somethingoclock...?
