Hi!
I am an enthusiast of the Andromeda system and shooting RAW in general - I used to own an NTSC Andromeda (now I own a RED package instead).
I have a brand new ANDROMEDA PAL camera. It is in perfect condition, 0 (zero!) hours on the head, with the Andromeda hardware mod already installed by Reel-Stream. Juan was supposed to release the Sculptor software update to integrate the PAL Andromeda as well, but for various reasons - selling his company etc - he didn't finish the project and I am left with the modded camera.
I have been contacted by two people in the past month who wanted to buy the camera; they were coders who were interested in updating the Sculptor software themselves. Unfortunately, the deals didn't come through, so I thought of posting it for sale. Maybe somebody else - who is also a coder or has some connection with a software coder - would be interested in tackling this problem. My personal opinion is that someone who can reverse-engineer Sculptor can update it it very easily to handle the PAL output. It would be a such a shame not to see an Andromeda PAL unit after all, since this camera is already modified and all. Again, this is the only PAL DVX featuring the Andromeda hardware mod in existence.
I have high-quality pics of the unit and I can e-mail them upon request. If someone is interested, please e-mail me so we can take it from there.
