Underwater footage, anyone?

see "feature film screening" thread. there's an underwater shot in the trailer and more in the film. i (the dp thought the water was too cold both in the ocean and the pool) used that very housing. worked great. can't recommend it for more advanced shooting or diving though, since there's no filter thread so the lens doesn't stay where it's supposed to unless you hold it.

Hey Matt, and what lens did you use for that great shot? Does it work well with lenses other than the kit zoom? Is there a lot of Flare? It says it's for the D90 and D5000, I wonder if that same one would also work with a D80 or D40, do you see a problem?
Thanks, and BTW your trailer is excellent!

thanks. i used the nikkor 24/2 for that shot, and it works well with any lens (i don't own the "kit" lens so i don't know about that). that's the problem though; the housing is built for any lens, so it doesn't "fit" any of them. you have to manually hold it in place while shooting. you can use any camera too btw, they just say nikon in that particular listing to attract customers.
