uncompressed capture

If I were to capture through firewire tethered to a computer could I record to dvcpro 50 in a 4:2:2 COLOR SPACE. Also, if I went the svideo out of the dvx to an intensity pro by blackmagic would I be able to capture uncompressed like firewire and would it be better qualty?

I think you should get andromeda if you want to do all this... I did a test by shooting the same scene, one with tape and one directly into Avid... it looked strangely enough better on tape.
