Unable to see UPDATE option for updating firmware for 16 gig

Hi there,
I finally got my 16 gig p2 card and of course its not compatible...so I downloaded the necessary file from panasonic website...copied it on to 512 sd card, brought it into the camera. I went into menu>operation and there i see DELETE, FORMAT, REPAIR CLIP, EXIT but no UPDATE...i have tried turning off the camera, turning it on...so many things...no luck

Any ideas. I just need to see UPDATE button

you need to copy the entire /PRIVATE directory structure onto the card, not just the file, as per point 4 of the last section in the readme:

4. Copy the whole folder “PRIVATE” in the extracted folder to the SD card.
NOTE: Do not change the construction of folder and the file name.
