I'm attemting to import some windows media files into avid xpress 3.5 in order to eventually export them as .mov's for use on Macintosh DVD authoring software and the program is telling me the "file format is not supported"
I am not the original creator of the files so I cant simply go back and re-export them under an acceptable file type.
Files are 640x480
Audio
have bit rates varying from 1100 to 2052 kbps
16 bit audio
2 Stereo channels
44 kHz sample rate
Video
varying data rates from 900 kbps to 1900kbps
video sample rate of 24 bit and are stream named "video 2"
Anyone see any problems with how these files were exported that would make them incompadable with Avid?
Thx
