unable to get 144Mbps constant bit rate after uploading Driftwood's Quantum X hack

Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong here? I asked this question in the personal-view forum but didn't get any helpful replies yet. Thanks in advance.

I installed Driftwood's 150 Mbps constant bit rate hack known as the "Quantum X v4b Orion CBR setting" but I'm not able to achieve 150 Mbps. I'm getting around 99 to 110 Mbps. Even though I made sure all the right settings were checkedi n Ptool 3.64. I simply clicked on the "G" letter to load the hack, and I confirmed that everything was checked and saved and it installed on the GH2. But I'm not seeing a constant bit rate. I should be seeing 144 Mbps but I'm seeing much less.

OK so I just shot six different scenes with the Quantum X v4b Orion constant bit rate hack of 144Mbps, and my video bitrate was only 113, 116, 111, 99, 110, and 112 Mbps for the six scenes.

Is this normal? I thought that "constant bit rate" meant that regardless of what's you're recording, you would see 144 Mbps in 1080p24 mode. Is this not the case???

I just can’t understand why the Quantum X v4b Orion constant bit rate of 144Mbps in 1080p24 is consistently giving me a much lower bit rate (99? 110?) than 144 Mbps.

I may have been looking at the wrong files. Was I supposed to be checking the original mts files? Those low readings I was getting were for transcoded Apple ProRes Quicktime files. I just checked one mts file and did see that it was 147Mbps.

Just wondering.
