un-delete a file off the camera

Came across a file on the camera that was corrupt and would not play back. Didn’t think anything of it and deleted it. (thought it was just a error because the file size said 0 kb) turns out it was a clip after all.
My question is, can that file be restored? The cards have not been reformatted just that one small file has been deleted...is there a magic undo button??? I know files can be recovered just don’t know how.

Gary.

Panasonic can possibly restore it for you. Of course there is no guarantee, but try contacting them about it.

Hi Gary,

The factory has software that in some cases can restore a deleted clip. There is no guarantee that we can restore the clip but we are happy to try. Unfortunately the card must be returned to Japan. There is no cost and we will cover the freight. Turnaround time is usually under 7 days. If you would like us to try give me a call on 0414 249 377.
