this hot girl i know needed a vid for her high school presentation on alcohal abuse. she didnt want anything too serious so this is what we came up with. took me about 3 hours to drive around and shoot it. saturns hurt like hell.

I have always loved that song! Liked the piece too actually. Liked some of the shots, and the guy did a good job of looking like a nob.

It was alright, there are things I liked, like the footage of the guy rolling down the hill, then the car hitting him looked pretty cool. The rest of it was pretty cheesy, I think you could have had a better "drunk."
 
That MUSIC! That was from the Muppet show from way back! PLEASE tell me the name so i can get a copy. Wow, that was some nostalgia! Awesome work! Made me laugh! =)

The buildup was amusing and music really helped to sell "the funny." IMO.

I had no idea what "Drunken Ice Blocking" was until the end and the wide shot of him sliding down the hill. Damn. I'm still giggling like a little girl over that shot. What the HELL is wrong with me? I can't stop laughing.

For a quick knock-off I liked a lot.

So. Did you get a date out of this? Or at least a thank-you hug?

liked the shot with the dancing by the HACIENDA pole and the short brick wall. Something about that shot- nicely selected location.

Did I offend you? Not quite understanding what you were upset by. I imagine you didn't like that fact that I said the beginning was a bit cheesy. You said yourself it's not suppose to be serious, so cheesy isn't necessarily bad.

I'll be sure to just post positives next time. Some people post work just so everybody can tell them how wonderful it is :).

I figured on a film making forum you would want a bit more. Boy do I miss High School.
 
aww, you mention "hot girl" in the original post and there was no pic or video of her? :(
