Actually really liked part two nearly as much as one. I think It was hot. But sorry #3 sucks. I just thought.. men, they need to think over the end with neo going down. Ok, they needed to get out of the storry some way.. Also I did not like that 20 min shootin scenes.. that was not neo style.. I think he or them should have done something more intellingent...

Somebody already bought the collectors box? I heared they have some interviews of Ken Wilbur in there? Is that right?

I hated the second, seriously, how do you make a fight scene boring? I didn't think it was possible but they achieved this lofty goal.

Also, people say "Lol mont3 y0 jusT d1dnt ge3TT diitt LOL!!!". Wrong, i understood the greek philosophy, but when I did get it, I wanted to "unsee" it, the movie was like... as maddox puts it: "packed full of "deep" philosophical notions, straight out of a Philosophy 101 class full of aging hippies with nappy haircuts"

I thought the first one was classic epicness.

The latter two kind of were okay but not worth watching again for me. (Just my 2 cents).

I do not doubt the impact these films have had on cinema and filmmaking though. Again, the first one blew me away.

The Matrix definitely raised the bar for action scenes. Remember the first time you saw bullet time? I mean WOW :o

The first is a classic. The second is actually growing on me. I liked it when it first came out, and the more I watch it the more I dig it. The Matrix was a cultural event and it trickled down from the films to commercials, marketing and advertising, and bullet time and every other cool effect from it was bled dry and vampire tit sucked by every other action film. But unfortunately the third film is a pile of liquid ass. Just my opinion.
