Yeah, might be easier to add some random text layers rather than particles due to that very limitation. I've always wished Particular would allow you to have different particle shapes within one instance of the effect.

Very very true. I'm not that good with expressions, but the first link has some great expressions to do what I thought to be different letters or words for one emitter based on randomized usage of an array. An array? Don't know what that is, sounds like a library or accesable catalog of info or some such.

Anywho, there sounded like a way to do just that.

I'm not 100% sure, but Text Anarchy would probably be able to do something like this. I know you can create an emitter that spews random characters within a range you set, so you could have that swirling around and manually animate the characters for the titles you want the audience to be able to read...OneInf's solution is pretty damn eloquent and simple though. and free.

Text Anarchy, of course, costs a chunk of change...
