UK / Europe based Sellers / Dealers with HVX200

[SDV]

Hello everyone,

Well, I've tried to post this question on another topic, but that one is aparantly for the American side, as only USA based addresses were given.

I am a student and I am looking into getting an HVX200, but I cannot find dealers or sellers who are asking a normal price. So far I have had one price which was under 4000 GBP (8000 USD). Though all others are over. Maximum price so far:
9000 GBP (18000 USD), but with 2 P2 cards (WOW! AMAZING). Yeah, very much if you're going for the FS100 anyways.

When I inquired at Panasonic last year they stated the price for broadcast dealers, the initial price starts at 3500, and would drop to 3000 as supply increased. Great, I thought. Aparantly not yet.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

Kind regards,
SDV

Is shipping all that bad? Some film equipment I have bought in the past was only availible in Europe (or better price). Shipping was always around 100-300$ USD. Look into shipping. It may not be that bad.... Especially if your lowest cost there is 8000 USD... hell you could have a shipping cost of 2,000$ and still SAVE!!! Ha ha, good luck.

Do take into account the U.K rate of VAT, which I think is 17.5%.
It is also possible, there maybe other additional charges as well.
For what its worth!
I would strongly advise buying in the U.K. just in case you need to have it looked at.

Kind Regards
