SOLD UK/EU Defy G5 3-Axis Gimbal kit

[Ben Scott]

I'm selling Defy G5 Gimbal kit in excellent condition

The DEFY G5 is comprised of lightweight carbon fiber tubes and high quality aluminum components. Uniquely incorporating a limited number of easy to adjust thumb screws into its design in place of hex bolts, users can field assemble and balance without tools in just minutes. Filming with the DEFY G5 is equally easy, allowing nearly anyone with little to no training to use. The DEFY G5 is scalable, meaning it can quickly adapt to various cameras and lenses during a shoot due to the ease of its field balancing.

The DEFY G5 features a full 3-axis control, three modes of operation: Slow Pan, Fast Pan, and Accessory Control.

Here's the guys from Defy using it with an FS700

I bought it about 10 days ago from a company that bought it and used it 3 times before moving up to shooting on Alexas and then weren't able to shoot with it.

I've not even used it on a shoot but balanced my A7s on it and then discovered that my fully loaded FS7 with cine lenses is just a tiny bit too much for it and so it is no good to me.

Subsequently I just want to get my money back for it so someone is going to grab a great deal.

Including import duty/VAT this is over £4,000 worth of excellent kit which I will let go for £1800.

Forgot to say, I would be interested in trading/part-exchanging for a decent wireless follow focus solution and/or some good quality lighting solutions. I also fancy a DJI Ronin if you'd like something lighter
