Just ordered a D800 for the bargain price of £1500 (Nikon staff price) BUT the price was 1320 last week. Not sure if this was only an internal jump or if it will soon affect the high street, people I know seem to think so. Thought people may want to know.

Hoping to use the Nikon as a B Cam to my AF101. Looking forward to testing it out soon although there is a backlog so no idea when I will get it !

Thanks an excellent price might start working for Nikon now:-)
I ordered mine from WEX in the UK and they have thankfully kept to the original pre-order price which I thought was a good gesture to customers.
