uh oh, is this a dead pixel in my T2i?

Cool... I'm trying to edit now so will look at the camera later....

I thought it might be a process that remaps the dead pixel in the footage...

I'll load up a pic when I get to a shot that has the issue...

First 3 interviews seem ok... but it appeared after an overheat...

In fact I've never had a over-heating issue before... but if you get dead pixels after...

Then I think the Canon will have to go...

If I had my adaptor with me I would have shot it with the GH13...

Cheers

Paul place the body cap on the camera. Go to M picture mode. Go to menu and look for sensor cleaning. Choose clean manually. Hit ok and wait 30 seconds. Then resume regular use. It will get rid of the dead pixel.

oh my goodness! Thank you!! I was just watching some footage and noticed a white dot on my video. I thought for sure it was a dead pixel, and with some online searching on the topic found your post and your process worked to clear it! THANKS!

Wow, that totally worked! I wish I'd noticed and knew about this before I did a full day of shooting.
