i have the sgblade and i put it together but the image is wayyyy to ddark only way i see somethin is if i point it at the tc n its very faint hardly can see. how can i get it to wrk!!!

I once couldn't get enough light with the blade. Then I realized that I had the camera's internal ND filters turned on. Turning them off solved the problem.

You'll need to post a grab, along with camera model and settings. There's just not enough information here to make a guess.

Even 2 stops of light loss is pretty severe already. If you lost 2 stops your image just got 4 times as dark so in a normally lit room it might well look pitch black.

Open your Lens and cam aperture to the maximum....that's the best of your set up can go.
But it's not the best way to solve the problem....just add more LIGHT!

Actually, I felt the same as you on my first time with blade!!!!
But now I'm loving it.....

It's almost impossible to get an exposure indoors w/o adding any light.

If indoors open the curtains and shoot near a window or go outside and shoot.

dude probably still have his lens caps on.

Yeah, at this point all the things it could be have been exhausted. Lens cap is on, ND filter is on, cam iris is closed, lens iris is closed, not enough light. I don't believe there's anything else it could be, assuming the camera is actually working.

I suspect he's using an incompatible lens on the blade, or don't knowhow to use his camera.

The comment about the lens cap being on was funny. lol

And of course he doesn't bother to come back and reply to his own thread. It's getting a little too common.
