I have two different professional, extra large carbon fiber boom poles available. These are both poles that you would find on television and feature sets. At this time these are for local sale in LA only. Local inspection and testing/handling welcome.
The first is a rare opportunity to acquire a used Van der Bergh extra large boom pole. This pole is carbon fiber, comprised of four sections, and is 4 feet 9-1/2 inches collapsed and 16 feet 5-1/2 inches fully extended. It is internally cabled with a straight, pass through, industry standard Canare cable with Neutrik connectors. Includes removable tip. The pole weighs less than 2 pounds w/cable. It is in well used but good condition. This is the type of professional gear that gets handed down or gifted to your longtime assistant; hardly ever available unless trashed. The second is a PSC Elite extra large boom pole in new condition. It is carbon fiber, 5 section, 4 FT to 17 FT, and weighs only 1 lb 7 oz. The pole is serialized. This is the bare pole, and was never configured or used. It has no end cap on the bottom - you get the one for the configuration that you want (basic cap, straight cable cap for pass through XLR, etc.). A great feature of the PSC Elite boom poles is that you can feed a fully assembled XLR cable through the entire pole (no need to to assemble the cable connector after threading it through the pole, like with K-Tek). I'm including a used 3/8 threaded tip but it's in poor condition (these are removable and inexpensive). It's brand new so I'd like to get $600. Verified PayPal okay. No shipping at this time.
