Two questions

If I'm shooting 24p, whats the regular shutter speed I use if I want the best film look? (60?)

What's the difference between "dropped frame" and "non-dropped frame"? Which do I want?

(I'm sorry but I know that these have been asked and answered and half of ya'll want to tell me to search the website for the answers. I'm just hoping someone whose nice will skip all that pc stuff and just answer the darn questions. I appreciate it.)

claxius,
just a little advice:

You've asked a slew of questions on here, and mostly received many answers.

It would be VERY nice, if you could at least acknowledge the time people take to answer your questions.
As it is, it seems you do a "hit-and-run", that is, ask a question, and never bother coming back to say: "hey, thanks for the reply, this is...yadda yadda..."

I always appreciate the help I get. It's just annoying sometimes when all I ask is for a short answer and I get 20 replies saying to search this MASSIVE site for my answer when all it takes is a minute or two to answer the question.

So if anyomne wants to answer the questions to the best of their ability I want you to know that I am grateful.

thank you

What I find funny about this post is that you admit that the answer to your question is on this site and you admit to being too lazy to look it up.
Now to help you out I went onto google and searched for both of your questions and on the first page of each search found these answers

first question : it appears as though the best one is 1/48th

now for your second question
http://www.csif.org/html/dropframe.html ( Happy Reading )

I must say it's insulting to everyone that you refused to search for the answers to these questions

Dude . . .

This is just plain rude and obnoxious. Check out the forum participation guidelines.

The funny thing is, when I was reading the questions I was getting ready to give an answer. Then I read this comment above and suddenly lost all interest in participating in the discussion.

Yeah, that's entirely too rude dude...

I know in order to pull up that information I had to have my secretary go through the briceman post archives to find it.:)
