Two New Films

Well done for somewhat at your stage in exploring the craft. Liked your choice in music and appreciated your attention to sound in general - way above average.

Might suggest your next effort pay more attention to lighting - even a little reflector fill on the outdoor scenes would help a lot.

Acting and dialogue are stilted and contrived, but this is exactly how one learns the art of directing - . . . .I'd maybe suggest more . . . . spontanaity is the word I'm looking for.

ie - subject not sitting on roadside, is jogging along and then drops to stare at sky . . second jogger slows, then stops, flops down and engages conversation . .

your piece just seems a little too heavy in establishing mood at the expense of reality - just my opinion.

The doctor segment was very good - conveying exactly the emotion most of us would feel when confronted with such mind numbing news.


Nice efforts, I'd encourage you to do more - and thanks for sharing!

Um, that guy has a really unfortunate day...

I like it for the most part. There is a deep art in silent films and in my personal opinion it's really hard to master. Congrats on winning your awards! I just won 5 awards last night myself at my school film festival :)
