Two Monitors

Is it possible to hook up 2 monitors to the 5dII? Either getting an HDMI splitter outputting to 2 monitors or outputting from the first monitor to the second monitor? I would also love to have the LCD visible during the feed but that's not happening anytime soon...Thank you.

I know my Small HD monitors have both an HDMI in and an HDMI out that will feed a second monitor. As far as I'm aware, this won't have any negative impact on the IQ or the processor in the camera.

I never thought about the possibility of affecting the processor/quality of the image...can anyone confirm if there is any hit on the image when successfully outputting to more than one source? I was thinking of somekind of HDMI splitter...

there is no reason why adding monitors would hit anything.
the way you will add it could cause some problems (for example if you put several HDMI monitor with different EIDE specs on a splitter , ususally the lowest wins) or if you
use some wireless transmission recoding signal (usually to lower quality).
Anyway only the 7D has full resolution on hdmi output, so quality should not be a concern on other models like 5DII

Hooking up more than one monitor to the 5DII won't affect recording. That's why they call it monitoring.

Lots of monitors and viewfinders have HDMI passthrough, so you just need to daisy-chain them together.

One thing to watch out for is if you knock the cable and lose the feed to the first monitor you will also lose your recording on camera. It's not too big a problem with short cables, but with longer ones, you'll need to break out the gaffer tape. HDMI monitoring on 5DII can work, but it sucks.
