Two kinda... stupid questions

Q.1: Where do I switch between 24p and 24pa on my DVX100E?

Q.2: What does the hour meter count really? The hours of recording or just the hours getting power from a battery?

#1 - The DVX100E is a PAL camera and so it shoots 25p and 50i, but that selection is listed under the Scene File menu area. Scroll down and you'll find it.

#2 - The hour meter counts all the time when the camera is on with a tape in it (not counting when the camera goes into standby mode).

Well, I can read and write English all ok, but when it comes to (sometimes complicated) technical manuals written in some other language than my native Norwegian, it all suddenly becomes hard as hell.
