I'd like to show you our last production:
"TWO GUYS WITH DOUGH"
I'm actually making a site of this movie but i thought that you could see it first and share some opinions

It was shooted on dvx100 + my homemade adapter

Obawian sie ze zbyt slabo mowic po polsku.

i love it when i find someone to speak to in polish! im a 3rd gen polish decendant, and just picked up the language for fun.
for some reason im not able to reach your server at all, does it have something wrong with it?

Copy the whole link line, not just the underlined part, and paste it in a new window.

I got there but I couldn't play the clip. .avi and QT don't seem to loike each other.

ok, i fixed link....
it is compressed in 3vixD4 4.5 video codec
download it on your hdd and play in some player [like vplayer or other]
i don't know how to set subtitles in mov from txt file - so avi only... :/

u mnie slabo - jak to w polsce :)
mam nadzieje że niedługo się stąd wyniosę...
szukam jakiegoś punktu zaczepienia w stanach żeby móc tam wyjechac. Niestety aby dostać wizę pracowniczą trzeba troche się poużerać z konsulatem i formalnościami...

Bardzo się dederwuję keidy zaczynam mowię po polsku.

im not too sure the consular office would understand though.
have you been to the u.s. before?

I Loved the LOOK! Your adapter looks great to me. It got rid of the
DVX out of the box "Documentary" look. That and the deceptive LCD
are my only 2 gripes about the DVX. This doesn't look anything like
a Dcoumentary. I would like to have one of those adapters for myself.
I'm also going to assume this is a PAL camera huh?

thanks for posting it.
your adaptor looks great, and id love to make my own someday. it gave a very theatrical look. the story is great because it shows how the evil in people can turn friends against eachother.
all around a good job!

leseulgiraffe- um, i dont think its a quicktime file ;-) i had to open it with windows media player vers 10, and that was only the link in post #7, i never did get the other 3vixD4 format to work.
 
VERY good! I've seen some very nice work from the polish film school, when I was studying in Portugal.
What mic did you use? Was the sound recorded separately or directly into the camera? Your 35mm adapter has very cool results! I wish I was that handy building this kind of stuff.

i use magnet. there is a sensor in dvx thats flip picture on lcd only

to shoot this i used two lenses: 50mm@f1.4 and 300mm@f2.8
my dvx is PAL version

sound was recorded on camera dv tape from directional microphone.
film is not ready yet... i nedd to make some picture and sound adjustments.
when i finish i'll share link to film site.
 
Really great look... I enjoyed the flick in spite of the language barrier... After watching it, I found the link to the subtitles... Great job.
 
Wow, the sound capabilities of the ag-Dvx100 are just amazing. The sound is very good. What microphone did you use?
