Here is my first crack at color-correcting. Used the built in feature on FCP5. Shot these in squeeze mode, scene dial at F5. Thanks for any feedback, Ben.

Nice use of lines and angles, I love em both, and I agree with Isaac its does have a seventies feel. Also reminds me of playing Grand theft auto and zooming in on things with the sniper rifle :) I er um... mean *runs*

I like how you left a little bit of an object in the foreground to give up a better sense of depth. I like the 1st one better than the pool shot, but I think thats because the traffic light makes it just that more interesting.

I'm loving the saturation in the first one. And I love the deep blacks in the Allerton Hotel building. Question though... what is up with the traffic light? Where is the middle yellow (or as my driving instructer called it.. AMBER) light? Why are the red and green together, and why ar they both on at the same time?

Do you make any changes to the scene settings in the camera? Or did you have them factor as-is?

MagnumDB - I think that is the yellow/amber light we're seeing. He boosted the darks so much in CC that the yellow is now redish.

Nice shots. But I don't like the out of focus railing (bottom right) on the 2nd grab. It pulls me away from the surrealness of the swimming pool. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the comments everybody. The stoplight shot just happened to have one frame where both lights were on. Straight up factory settings, F5 scene dial.
