TVC - shot AF102 - composited - Samurai footage

One of a series of 6 TVCs I shot and finished recently.

A simple looking TVC with a surprising degree of post complexity all done in a Flame Suite. 15 hours work for 6 TVCs using common plus diiferent components ( eg meals)

All components are live and real objects (apart from the web site end which is a graphic) .

The "STOCKS" word is a real object we had model makers build

The footage is entirely un CC'd or graded except the BG plate has a slight vignette grad and DOF added.

The extensive Flame work is compositing of footage from the Samurai (Prores 422). Included rotoscoping of the hand action

The scene setting was Spark (F3) at default setting.

The exposure was for a full broadcast level and color range and lit accordingly.

There was never a hint of "noise" or any other issues and the internal codec appears identical ( I used the internal codec for my offline edits)

Thanx Eric

As we both know Eric ...what we see from Youtube / Vimeo does ot truly represent what we see when we view our orginal master footage.

eg ..the TVC displayed was 3GB (uncompressed mov) and uploaded to YT at 14MB

I was thinking about that also when I viewed your recent efforts a moment ago and formulating a comment for you.

Thank you Dan

I would not have posted this up... but I did so because I noticed that the "noise" thing was being mentioned again and I actually meant to use it as an example of shooting default in a scene setting that others may not associate with "noise free" images.

I to and fro'd on the decision a bit because I realised that its impossiblel to actually show the issue (or the non issue) via YT or Vimeo or even frame grabs.

Whatever...the amount of work I have now taken from this camera into a number of high end facilties over time, has me and the video techs absolutely convinced of its "issue free" viability.

My mission is to convince the nay sayers that there is no noise / banding issues ... (let it go guys!)

BTW: Soon I will post up a TVC (or some grabs) from an Alexa / AF102 shoot we completed. I will defy anyone to identify an IQ difference in the result.
