TV Show shot with HVX + Letus Extreme

Haven't checked out all of it, but I'm sure it was awesome working with Shaun! Have always loved his work.. very funny actor... gotta check this whole episode out soon! Where are you pitching the show?

Hi Zeakio.... it really is worth watching the full episode... great cast, funny story. I even just won Best Direction in a TV Comedy Series at this years Australian Directors Guild Awards. Show isn't being pitched... it has already been to air.

December last year I was in Lismore, Northern NSW.. but now I'm back in Melbourne (originally from Geelong). I never got to check out Newstopia.. always wanted to because I'm a big fan of The Daily Show and Colbert Report, but never found myself actually getting around to watching it.

Great work monkeydude. I thought the audio was really well done as well. Could you go into some detail on what that process was like. Was the sound captured to camera or professionally recorded. Was there extensive ADR/MIXING? It sounds great.

The audio process was quite simplistic really..... sound recordist was plugged directly into the HVX202 and was recorded that way. Post audio was a rather short process as we finished shooting only 5 days prior to the show going to air. The sound mixer did receive rough cuts in the 2 weeks prior but really only did the final mix and restriped the master only mere hours before broadcast. There was only the one sound engineer working on the project and only one adr scene, a few lines in the interrogation scene as it was raining heavy on a tin roof at the time. Foley was of a minimum.
