Well, I'm not sure, I have heard alot about Destination Truth but have yet to see an episode. Here is a bit of a description from our webpage :

Every state has it's legends, myths, and mysteries! Join researchers
Steven Mayes and Rodd Sutton as they cut through the many layers of
myth, to find the truth behind those legends in Truth or Legend!

The program will follow longtime friends Rodd Sutton and Steven Mayes as they travel to various locations each episode. Aside from the entertainment value of two friends hitting the road on the adventure of a lifetime, audiences will find much to learn about the history of lost and forgotten stories from our past. Episode ideas include investigating hauntings, shipwrecks, treasure, and
ancient myths.

The first episode of Truth or Legend has Steven Mayes and Rodd Sutton
traveling to Frankfort Michigan to investigate the shipwreck
of the Westmoreland. The Westmoreland sank in the icey waters of Lake
Michigan in 1854 taking with her 17 men and a cargo said to include ten
thousand dollars in gold coins (worth millions today) and
two thousand eight hundred casks of whiskey. Fueled by tales of treasure,
shipwreck and treasure hunters began searching for the wreck in 1872.
Her location remained a mystery until July 2010 when she was found by
researcher/diver Ross Richardson in 200 feet of water.
While the exact location of the shipwreck is still kept secret, Ross Richardson
has invited Truth or Legend to travel with him as he dives the shipwreck, and to
share the story of this once proud ship, with the world.

Sounds awesome. Not quite like Destination Truth which focused more on... supernatural myths. Mostly monster myths created by locals, like Yeti or Chupacabra, to name 2 of the famous ones. It was a pretty funny show to watch, and you got to see some really cool locations. It went on for 5 seasons. I watched it mainly because I live shows that travel to exotic locations, and some of the female investigators were ridiculously hot. But the main investigator, Josh Gates, was a funny guy too, mainly because he was really skeptical of every single thing, which helped with the rather ludricous basis for the show.

There is a popular video of some guy in South America showing himself turning into a werewolf while being interviewed, obviously he doesn't change, it is more of a mental thing it seems. Anyways, that is from the show Destination Truth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaRA4gR9Djg
