Re: Tv Pilot

what do you mean by format?

If the show get the responce expected from the audience, then I could potentially be directing more shows. Sitcom? No; but it goes along the line.

Re: Tv Pilot

Like the pic of judge the best, would probably bring down the lighting on the guy lawyer a bit and shoot in a room with more character (depth) Keep em' comn!

Re: Tv Pilot

The Judge was good! talented actor like everyone else. About the room, we were short of choices... eventhough we shoot was in a real court, our available space was limited .

I am confortable with the lighting... this is one of three diferent shots... some better than the others-.. I grabbed this one ramdomly, not sure from what take... but I like it. Why would you change the lighting, avatuar?

Re: Tv Pilot

the lighting is adequate and i wouldnt say its bad. but it all pends what you were going for. it is pretty flat and even. it dosent lend much depth to the images here, but that could be a good thing pending how serious the dramatic aspect of the scene is. i think it looks good for the type content im thinking it is. but im only guessing at conent from these frame grabs, and the mood therein which all comes back to the lighting, so i could be way off anyway.

Re: Tv Pilot

toilet_bob: If I understood your question; this is NTSC, DVX100A, 4:3, with controlled settings and no color correction.

Neil R.: The flat lighting was intentional as I curiously combined the mood of the lighting with the emphasis of the actors lines... the lighting will mildly change between characters as they individually approach to the story from the different perspective, having said that, the lighting will not be quite the same for each character. Well! thats a risk I took and whether I nailed it or not.. I think I did. But I will leave that up to you to judge from the clips I will be posting. :)

Re: Tv Pilot

The CC'd grabs look better!
Alot better actually, especially the lawyer picture.

Looks good!

When can we expect some footage?

Re: Tv Pilot

BrandonC: thanks

Perhaps in about 2 weeks... I have three other projects to edit before this one.

Re: Tv Pilot

This is looking like really good stuff, for one of your first projects nice work roman, i better be one of the first to recieve a copy of your finished work ;D

How hard do you think it would be to duplicate that somewhere in new york? except make a comedy skit(me being the judge) :o

Yeah we talked and joked but i'm serious

"Judge Lebroz in "This is not the average Courtroom with Judge Lebroz" "

I have some new videos from my television show encoded in wmv...

check it out vote yay or nay to see roman direct a Judge and court room with a twist of Lebroz
:)

Film festivals? we would win %23 of them with a movie like that

Judge... Jury ... LEBROZ ! ! !

Re: Tv Pilot

Hey LEBROZ,

Sounds like it can be fun... The only thing is that I wish I could just pick up on any stuff.... I have a pretty busy schedule. :( Well! I guess I should use a :) face because I am working and learning a lot.

Re: Tv Pilot

Hey roman how is everything set up, 1 dvx? is sound fed to the dvx or is it hooked up to the laptop a la dvrack? A xlr mixer?

More than one camera angle?

1x dvx 1x mic? whats the setup

I think lighting is good, looks like something that would be broadcast
