F3: tv movie for UP TV: "The Dempsey Sister"

Nice. Can you talk about how the noise was handled in s-log mode for shadows and darker colors that are under exposed? It looks like you did mostly bright, TV sitcom lighting so it would show up less but I am still struggling to figure it out any time I have those in my shots.

George, it looks great, energetic, warm, colorful and interesting. Good job. It makes me want to watch the show.

Shoots56, maybe you have a defective camera that generates more noise, or your post proecess is accentuating the little noise it has. No one else has much of a complaint about this noise with the F3. Most people find it has very little noise overall.

Looks fantastic. Just logged onto DVXUSER and seen two great examples of the F3 in action (watched Richard's clip too) in the first two posts I read. Lovely work George, really made the camera 'sing' on this production. Long live the F3. Sparky

Thanks for the comments everyone! Overall, really impressed with the F3.

Shoots56, I have no complaints about noise with the camera, especailly recording SLog to ProresHQ. CC was with Resolve.
The contrast ratio of this movie was pretty manageable though, for any camera. I did have 1 shot that was a bright day exterior, with the characters in complete shade. I was impressed with how much detail there was in the shadows, and bringing them up to normal exposure really didn't introduce much noise. The saturation did get kinda weird, though.

I just finished another feature that was shot F3 S-Log prores4444, I'll post about that one as soon as it's released.
