TV monitor connection

I would like to view my editing cuts (Adobe PPro) on my computer monitor and a TV monitor while I'm working. I think that my video card may output a signal that a TV monitor can use (Without an expensive deck in the middle of the configuration.)
Can someone explain what I need to do to connect a TV monitor to my computer so I can view my video editing on a TV monitor? Thanks for the help.

you don't need an expensive deck, all you need is a camera with firewire in/out (such as dvx seeing as you posted in dvx section), presuming you are using a firewire card to capture. connect firewire to computer & camera, then link up your camera to tv using svideo or composite, turn your camera on to vcr mode & it should be viewable on tv. if you're not using firewire to capture then ignore all this & tell us what video card you have

What I'm using is a Canopus ADVC-100 or something like that, just a small box with FireWire, composite and S-VHS inputs and outputs. I feed DV into one of the FireWire ports and composite video out to my monitor. It's basically doing the same as what ade4all suggested, but it lets me avoid having to drag out my camera for editing.

Ok...yes, I know I can use my DVX , connected with firewire from the 'puter, and on to the TV. I was hoping that I could go straight from the video card plugs to the TV. Thanks for the feedback...I just ordered the TV so next week I'll be connecting.
