What´s a "Mono feature" on Focus Assist?
Frank
This is a fair point, but being able to quickly switch between focus assist/exposure assist/framing setups without shaking the screen (and possibly camera!) by touching the screen is useful, plus in some situations it means one less pair of hands needed if you can change at a distance while looking at yourself in the monitor or pulling focus. I know some other monitor companies include remote's as well so I think it's possible in the future.Ι can't think of a pro user to demand wireless control of a field monitor. You suppose to be aside that monitor.
This monitor offers everything a pro is going to need. Maybe more fuction keys on monitor and not wireless could be better.
Normal procedure with all TV Logic monitors is to send to the dealer for free upgrade.
Custom aspect ratios are doable, as are zooms in 10% increments. I'm not sure what "2X ana" is, I assume anamorphic 2:35 magnified 2X for critical focus? Sorry, not clear on your question. I am just a TV Logic user, and haven't tried the new firmware yet, but am happy to forward questions to the US rep.
Okay, it's all finalized. Dealer is Film Tools in California. Special DVXUser price is only for the higher end model, TV Logic WFM-056WP, which is $1350.00. List price is $1595.00.
The newest feature is the HDMI direct loop out via HD-SDI, which means that you can monitor from a DSLR via HDMI and loop it to other monitors via HD-SDI.
If interested, email the special address only for DVXUser group members, dvxuser@filmtools.com or call 888.807.1900 and ask for Aaron x134 or Jim x107.
For the record, I get nothing out of this and your price is lower than what I paid for my monitor. Special thank you to Film Tools and Preco for making this happen.
*UPDATE* The DVXUser special pricing is also available from the following reseller:
Vidkey – 914-239-3232 ask for Dave or email radin@vidkey.com
Just purchased the VFM 056WP, have a Switronix PowerBase 70 Battery Pack for my AF100. The TV Logic monitor has a Dtap to mini XLR power cable.
what adapter would i need to power my monitor off this battery, can't find anything on the web and the guy at B&H was perplexed.
Anybody know if the special pricing is still in effect?
