TV levels or PC monitor level

I am about to upload my shortfilm but i realized that if i apply a color correction level adjust for TV, my images wont look good on a PC screen, because the black in TV is at 16 in RGB.

So are you going to apply this level adjust to all videos when exporting to web, Jarred? What should we do to get the best?

So i understand with this that the mpeg that is going to be used for the web has to be at RGB levels, this means 0 for black and 255 for white, am i right?

errr ... All I know is when I output for web from FCP in compressor, I brighten the gamma slightly, to .7 or .8 ...

yeah, i used the "lighten" filter on mine through sorenson squeeze, or else my mpeg was crazy dark ...

I used DV Luma correction on BitVice, which is also lightening.
