Turning waveform off when going SDI out to a Panasonic field monitor

I'm trying to turn the waveform monitor *off* when looking at the image on my Panasonic BT-LH1700WP LCD Video Monitor.

I have the camera's "VIDEO OUT OSD" set to "OFF" and the "DISP/MODE CHK" button doesn't remove the waveform monitor, which shows up in the lower right corner of the field monitor's frame, obscuring a portion of the image and making it impossible to set the monitor up with the camera's color bars.

(I updated the firmware when I got the camera a couple weeks ago.)

I'd really appreciate any help.
 
You have the Monitor's WFM turned on, not the cameras. Find where the monitor has that function assined to, its one of the function buttons, and turn it off on the monitor.
