An article was printed in the Arizona Daily Star this morning that created a great deal of controversy.
Apparently Hillman and Carr, a production house out of DC, was retained by a consultant to the City of Tucson government to produce a short tourism video for $820,000.

Other than a brief helicopter shot this seems like a pretty high cost for a tourism video. Not to mention almost all of the shots are outside of Tucson. The local city council is running like cockroaches from this fire.
It seems to me that this production team are experts at delivering a value proposition and we could all learn from them, especially local teams that are absolutely livid about not having the opportunity to keep the money in the local economy.
Thoughts?
