Trying to match GH1 with 7D and 5D

Kinda pulling my hair out here. Anyone else here successfully match GH1 to 5D or 7D settings? I have my 7D and 5D on the factory Neutral settings. Just can't seem to get the GH1 right.

Good luck with that my friend.

Undersaturate the 5D / 7D colors, and oversaturate the GH1..... over sharpen the 7D and undersharpen even blur the GH1 a bit....

You'll have to do most of the matching in post. Get them both as flat as you can, then in post bring up sat and contrast till they match.

I decided to keep the T2i look as it was, and crushed blacks, and put more highlights and saturation for the gh13

but if you want to get the canon to look as flat as gh1 untouched footage, it might be harder

You did a good job. I blinked for one second...and couldn't tell the difference between the two (in terms of color that is).

Pretty nice.... I am going to say the wide is the canon and the close up / punch ins the gh1

duh.. I just read that you gave that away already... but I hadn't read it when I watched...
