I've been following this forum for awhile and just joined today.
I want to thank everyone for the wealth of info.
I am about to head over to Singapore (from bali) to purchase the HVX202(pal version) and was wondering if anyone knew some decent places at decent prices. so far I found the below location, but it hardly seems a deal at 7500US with an 8gig card and battery.
http://www.expandore.biz/product_detail.asp?productid=1099&codeid=&catid=19&
I constantly read about HVX 200 users on this forum getting great deals on their cameras but my research has shown that in ASIA the pal version goes for alot more. Is this just supply and demand?
Can anyone recommend the cheapest way to get the pal version of the HVX?
Would it be better to mail order the European model? or get it from Australia?
PAL is PAL right? (I will be using it for DV projects as well)
Anyhelp in saving some dinero is greatly appreciated.
